PJ, I was pretty sure you would like Michigan. It doesn't sound like you saw Ft. Michilmackinac, but you can do that another trip. There are actually 4 vehicles on Mackinac Island. A fire truck, garbage truck, police jeep and ambulance. The 1000' ship you saw is 105' wide with a draft of 28' and hauls about 70000 tons of bulk material.
After graduating from IUP with a degree in physics, a 2 year stint in the army as a reserve officer, and getting married, I went into business with my dad repairing Volkswagen and Audi vehicles. The business supported my passion for racing open wheel sprint and midget cars on dirt and asphalt on the east coast. I now have an expert staff of technicians directed by a friendly service advisor, who cares about people. My office manager and marketer is second to none. Since retiring from racing, I now log a lot of miles on my '02 BMW R1150RT
